Somerset joins global event celebrating local theatre
All Together Now! is a global event celebrating local theatre with three nights of show tunes being performed in Somerset

Hit sing-along tunes from some of the world’s best loved musicals will be echoing from venues across mid-Somerset in November thanks to a global event celebrating local theatre.
We have announced we are joining thousands of theatre groups around the world by staging an exclusive one weekend-only concert.
All Together Now! has been created by theatre licence company Music Theatre International (MTI) and has been offered to local theatre groups for free to help them fundraise as they come out of the pandemic. Groups have been offered the chance to perform some of the musical world’s most famous tunes, which many may not ordinarily get a chance to perform or be able to afford.
Mary Parker, the Producer of our All Together Now! said:
“This is an amazing opportunity for a relatively small society like ours to not only have the chance to perform some world-famous hits from some of the most popular musicals, but to also join other theatre groups around the globe in this exciting new project.
“The past 18 months has been a challenging time for everyone, particularly performing arts organisations, and we’re looking forward to welcoming our audiences back with these truly wonderful nights of musical theatre. For us, it’s extra special because it will be the first time we’ve performed for an audience since the start of the pandemic.”
MTI’s President and Chief Executive, Drew Cohen, said:
“MTI’s All Together Now! is about bringing people back to the theatre, whether as audience members or cast, crew and musicians.
“The revue features songs from the world’s most iconic musicals, so there is definitely something for everyone to enjoy. Our goal with this worldwide event is for organisations to provide hope, inspiration and excitement to their communities through the transformative power of musical theatre.”
Our All Together Now! will be performed by some of our local area’s best singers and feature songs from shows including: Beauty and the Beast, Hairspray, Matilda, Oliver, Sister Act, Mamma Mia, Les Misérables, Guys and Dolls, Rent, My Fair Lady, Company, Jekyll & Hyde, Ragtime and Songs for a New World.
All Together Now! takes place at Edington Village Hall on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th November both at 7.30pm, and at Glastonbury Town Hall on 14th November at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £12.50.
